About This Site

Craven County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service that helps readers identify the public offices and systems connected with jail, booking, court, and corrections records in North Carolina. It is not a government office and has no authority to release a person, confirm custody, or advise anyone about a legal matter.

This is an independently operated reference site. It is not affiliated with Craven County, the Craven County Sheriff’s Office, the Detention Center, New Bern Police, Havelock Police, Trent Woods Police, North Carolina courts, NCDAC, or any other government agency.

What the Reference Provides

The pages identify official sources such as the county Housed Inmate Listing, municipal records divisions, Craven eCourts, North Carolina state offender search, BOP, ICE, and records-request offices. They describe what each source can answer and where its limits begin. The county roster is a current-housing snapshot. A police report, court disposition, state profile, and federal locator are separate records.

No booking-photo gallery is hosted here, and no mugshot is rehosted. When a source is secondary, it is labeled as local news, a cached mirror, or an archival aggregator. A booking is an accusation, not a conviction, and the person is presumed innocent unless and until a court finds otherwise.

Local Accuracy and Limits

Government pages can change, rosters can lag, and a record can be released, transferred, sealed, expunged, or corrected. The county page says its housed list is updated as often as possible and excludes juveniles and federal inmates. Those limits are carried into the county and city explanations. Official offices remain the source for current custody and case status.

The research also notes that the Craven roster showed no visible photo field during inspection. That is an interface finding, not a claim that a photo never exists. A specific image question belongs with the records custodian.

Search-Partner Disclosure

Some search boxes or referral links may connect visitors with third-party research tools. If a visitor uses one of those tools, a referral fee may be paid to the operator. That commercial relationship does not make the partner a government source, does not guarantee a result, and does not change the need to verify information with the originating office and court.

The partner tool does not replace the Craven County roster, a New Bern, Havelock, or Trent Woods records unit, the clerk, NCDAC, BOP, or ICE. Review a partner’s own terms and privacy notice before submitting information.
